What If You Found Love in the Last Place You Expected?

A romantic, historical time travel romance where an unexpected, sudden fall takes over Emma’s future.

The winds of fortune have something else in
store for the reluctant bride.

It is the year 1155. On the English coast,
in the village of Bebbanburg, two men walk out of the rain and into a dark tavern to discuss their deal. For the King's emissary, his job is to make sure the tall, handsome Highlander sitting across the table from him agrees to oversee the building of Bebbanburg Castle. But before the powerful Scottish
laird can leave, he must promise to marry the daughter of a French Norman Knight of the Realm.

Knowing peace in the north relies on him doing the right thing, Laird Fergus Reid promises to marry a stranger.

Meanwhile, this year, Emma Robinson is
getting ready to marry posh St. John Wetherington-MacMichaels, the billionaire publisher and son of an English lord. But something doesn't feel right, and Emma is having second thoughts. Not even the impressive Bamburgh Castle as the perfect wedding venue can change Emma's mind...

The winds of fortune have something else in store for the reluctant bride. Standing on the battlements while trying to make a phone call, Emma accidentally falls onto the cliffs below. Only she never lands.

Thumping onto the shifting sands of
Bebbanburg beach, Emma is swept away into a completely different sort of marriage. Laird Fergus believes her to be the Norman French bride the King promised him, and before Emma knows it, she is married to the stern, fierce Highlander.

Join Emma as she tries to negotiate married life in Medieval northeastern England in this first exciting standalone book in the series. You will discover how wonderful it is to say 'I Do' when the perfect Highland laird comes along.

A breathtaking story of love and finding home in the most unexpected place.

Editorial Reviews

"Absolutely fantastic story, does leave you on a cliff hanger. Another time travel by this author. Emma overhears her husband to be talking with some friends on the day of the wedding. She tries to call her friend to come and get her. Emma falls off the balcony of his families watchtower castle in the Highlands where his mother decides to have the wedding. When she lands, she is 1000 years in the past. It's there still dressed in her wedding dress, she meets Fergus, the Laird. Standing in front of a group of his people, she pretends to be another woman and marries Fergus. As the story goes on so does the lies she has to handle. Add in someone who knows that she isn't the woman that she trying to be. Has lots of history, action, love, romance, suspense, intrigue and no ending. A real cliff hanger, will have to read the next book. Hard to put down so curl up and enjoy. Would recommend to all."

"If you love Outlander, this book is one to read as it gives you all the Outlander feels. Present-day Emma Robinson is preparing to marry St. John Wetherington-MacMichaels, son of an English Lord and veritable billionaire in the publishing industry. But she's having second thoughts, and after overhearing her groom's admission right before the wedding, she's ready to bail. She looks to get someplace with cell phone reception in the castle and accidentally falls to the cliffs below and into the year 1155. In a case of mistaken identity, Emma is brought to a Scottish laird, Fergus Reid, as his bride. Thus begins a new life navigating the medieval times of northeastern England and experiencing the awakening of a powerful love that she would do anything to protect."

"Say 'I Do' at Bamburgh Castle was a lovely small novel, the perfect dose of escapism. Perfect for fans of Outlander looking for their next Scottish time-travel romance fix. Madden is phenomenal at creating a seamless flow within the story and clearly very knowledgeable about the time period and its lingo. The characters you were meant to dislike, the way they were written really provoked those feelings of annoyance and distaste for the character. I do wish the likable characters, specifically our FMC and MC offered us a little more insight into their inner world and who they are as individuals outside of their romance. The chemistry and touch of steam between them, infused with medieval dynamics, made this book a very cozy and comforting read. As this series continues, I would love to learn more about the main characters as well as both Emma and Fergus' lives before they met. I would also love to see Emma open up about her past and who she really is. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. Overall, I enjoyed this read and look forward to the next installment. Ashley Miller"
